About the Event

Later this term we will be holding our FIRST EVER school colour run. It’s going to be a fantastic day of fun for our students as well as one of the major school fundraising events for 2018. The day’s focus is on fun and fitness with the added benefit of COLOUR and raising funds for our school.

Children will be given a period of time to make their way around the school with students from their stage to be splashed with colour dust. Please see details on the products used on the reverse of the permission note.

Date: Friday September 21st (Wet weather back up is Friday September 28th) You will receive more information with starting times closer to the date. We expect it will be around 11:30am.

Where: Faulconbridge Public School grounds

Clothing Requirements: We encourage students to wear white or light coloured clothing and enclosed footwear. The colours will show more brightly if landing on white clothing. (No need to purchase new white clothes, older clothing will be fine). Each child will be provided with a groovy pair of bright coloured sunglasses to protect their eyes from both the sun and the colour.

Each child has received a special participation booklet that explains how they can set up a student profile or collect sponsors in the booklet itself. When asking for support it’s simply a donation towards this fun activity that’s taking place around the school. Students can do as many or as few laps of the course as they wish during their allocated session. So remember, there’s no need to ask for “amount per lap”, just a donation. There are some fantastic prizes up for offer and you’ll see them in the event booklet your child has received.

Please note, all donations need to be finalised on or before Wednesday September 26th 2018. Student prizes will be delivered shortly after.

Please complete and return the form below to the school office so we can include your child/children in this event. We are looking for volunteers for this event so please let us know if you can assist with this.
