ABOUT US

What is the P&C?

The P&C is much more than a group of parents, carers and citizens who meet once a month to engage with the school and discuss a range of matters relating to school community. The members of the P & C are a committed and focused group of individuals whose common goal is to better the “whole” school experience for each and every student at the Faulconbridge Public School.

The main focus of FPS P&C is to:
• Communicate with parents and carers and advocate for the school within the community to encourage participation
• Raise funds to help provide facilities and school equipment
• Advocate for local educational improvements
• Promote Public Education

What roles are available?

The P&C is made up on an Executive Committee and other members of the community who choose to come along to meetings.

The executive roles are: President, Vice President (x 2), Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Members x 7

When do we meet?

FPS P&C typically meets on the third Monday of each calendar month starting at 6.30pm in the school library, and go for approximately 1 hour.
The P&C meetings are open to everyone: parents, caregivers, grandparents, teachers, students and all other interested members of the community.

Committee meetings are held at various times throughout the term, dependent on need.
All meetings are advertised on the P&C's Facebook page and everyone is welcome to attend, whether you wish to be a P&C member or not.

Members of the school community are also welcome to contact the P&C at any time through the link at the bottom of this page, or on our Facebook page.

Is there a cost to be involved?

There is no cost to come along to the P&C meetings. However, if you would like to have the right to vote at the meetings and also if you hold a position on the Committee, there is an annual fee of $2.
