Great App. The ads were driving us nuts so we paid the $4.99 to go Ad free. Definitely worth it. Its a one time fee, not monthly or yearly. Compared to a few of the other sudoku apps its a pretty good deal.
Killer level? Really?!! How about renaming it to: Boss of the Universe or Extraordinarily Smart or something less violent? Its the normalization of violence in our society that is objectionable. We do sudoku to relax and unwind. We dont need prompts to try Killer level! Popping up!!
First off, this game has great details, its super fun and what got us into sudoku! We found out we were gifted in the game and our record is 7:07 ! We really like how this game has daily challenges, hints, and is full of surprises ! Have a great day !!
Love the interface, love the game - it's a classic. Giving it a low review for two reasons: absurd amount of ads, multiple times in the middle of the puzzle (on top of beginning and end of puzzle). Second, it drains my battery way faster than any other app. I can watch 4K YouTube videos for 3 hours and lose maybe like 20%. But this app, I'll play for about 1 hour and lose over 30% battery. It's insane. Wish I could rate this higher but it just ain't it right now.
This will not import anything but the starting digits, so it is probably only useful for classic Sudoku puzzles and not for variants like killer, thermo, sandwich etc. which rely on extra lines, numbers and coloured regions. Support for the new app is experimental and if using the old app, you may need to confirm reloading the framed content directly.
This iOS-only app is another comprehensive sudoku app that boasts a range of features, aside from basic sudoku. You can play in one of four difficulty settings, with the game offering just over 5,000 puzzles to work your way through. The app also throws in daily challenges for you to complete, as well as different types of puzzles, including letter sudoku. There are several themes to choose from, a dark mode, a time mode, and the ability to take notes and use hints. You can also share your progress with friends, while the developers promise to add around 100 new puzzles every week.
Do you know the sudokus? They are very popular logic games in which you have to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers without repetition. If you don't know how to play or want to know some techniques and tricks to complete them here are their rules and some tips.
The Sudoku, also known as südoku, su-doku or su doku, is the fashionable Japanese logic puzzle. The history of sudoku is quite recent, although in the 19th century some French newspapers already proposed similar number puzzles, it was not until the 1970s that the sudoku we know today was developed in Japan. Since 2005 (when printsudoku.com started) this logical game started to become popular internationally. The word sudoku in Japanese means (sü=number, doku=solo).
The rules are simple, it consists of a grid of 9x9 cells, divided into 9 quadrants of 3x3, which must be filled so that all rows, columns and quadrants (sets of 3x3 cells) have the numbers from 1 to 9 without any repetition. Obviously, the starting point is a board with some known positions. In general, the less initial numbers a sudoku has, the more complicated it is, but don't be fooled. The difficulty is not only determined by this variable. At PrintSudoku.com we always try to make sure that the sudokus we generate are the most fun and with a perfectly adapted difficulty.
It is curious, but in 2012 it was mathematically demonstrated that for a sudoku to have a single solution it must have at least 17 initial positions. There are a multitude of scientific articles and publications that try to determine how many sudokus exist, how many options there are and how to solve them in the most efficient way.
Sudokus are combinatorial problems ideal for developing logical thinking. They help to keep the mind active and it is an excellent entertainment to maintain mental agility, especially with numbers. It also helps to keep your memory sharp as the more complicated sudokus require you to make guesses that force you to evaluate different options. Also if you are just starting to program Sudokus are a classic problem for programming students.

It is up to the player to find themurderer, by completing different styles of Sudoku puzzlesrepresenting separate stages of the investigation. The Sudoku is a famous logic-placement game, originally popularized in Japan and today widely employed as pastime and as testbed for search algorithms. The classic Sudoku consists in filling a 9 9 grid, divided into nine 3 3 regions, so that each column, row, and region contains different digits from 1 to 9. This game is known to be NP-complete, with existing various complete and incomplete search algorithms able to solve different instances of it. In this paper, we present a new cuckoo search algorithm for solving Sudoku puzzles combining prefiltering phases and geometric operations. The geometric operators allow one to correctly move toward promising regions of the combinatorial space, while the prefiltering phases are able to previously delete from domains the values that do not conduct to any feasible solution. This integration leads to a more efficient domain filtering and as a consequence to a faster solving process. We illustrate encouraging experimental results where our approach noticeably competes with the best approximate methods reported in the literature.
Some time ago I started to develop a 'Sudoku Solver' using Python. Of course, there are many Sudoku solvers already available as open source projects, but I did not want to use any of those, because I was looking for a 'just for fun' project. Therefore, I start the development of a 'Sudoku Solver', just to see how it goes.I needed some data to test my program, therefore I searched the web, and I found plenty of Sudoku games, publicly available, free to solve, but from the copyright point of view 'All Rights Reserved'. I also used some free Sudoku games available on Android. The development went pretty well, and I successfully found solutions for both classic Sudoku and for a plethora of Sudoku variants, for which I could not found existing open source solvers available. Now I am considering to share the code for the Sudoku solvers as open source software, most likely using a permissive license like MIT, which means the code can be used for commercial purposes. The Sudoku games (All Rights Reserved) I used during development as test data, from a multitude of public sources and authors, will not be incorporated into the public project.
